United Youth for Rwanda Development (UYRD) is women's led not for profit, non governmental and voluntary organisation that aims at improving the life of young women in Rwanda. UYRD has been founded in 2008 by youth who were finished their high schools and studying in different universities of Rwanda, currently it has 153 members in which 80% of the are female who want to use their knowledge in order to help under-served, under-represented, under-privileged women in Rwanda. The activities of UYRD are multidisciplinary extending from health to Human Rights. We also implement activities targeting men once we find that there is a risk of any situation men are facing that will definitely affect women, e.g high HIV rate in a group of men make in danger surrounding women to be also infected. It is women's led because 80% of its members are women, and both executive directors and board of members must be females only
